Founded in 1937 as All American Aviation, US Airways (AA) is now wholly owned and operated by American Airlines (AA). The carrier, which is an affiliate member of the Oneworld Alliance, has hubs at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). US Airways has codeshare agreements with nine other carriers, including British Airways (BA), Hawaiian Airlines (HA) and Iberia (IB). Its fleet of 331 aircraft consists primarily of Airbus planes, although the airline also flies some Boeing and Embraer planes.
