The flag carrier of Indonesia, Garuda Indonesia (GA) was founded in 1947 as KLM Interinsulair Bedrijf. It operates from hubs at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK), Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) and Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (UPG). Garuda Indonesia flies to about 100 destinations, about half of which are domestic. International destinations include countries in Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and Europe. A member of the SkyTeam alliance, Garuda Indonesia also has codeshare agreements with 17 other carriers to about 30 other destinations. Citilink (QG) is its low-cost subsidiary headquartered in Jakarta.
