Had this seat from ATL to LHR. When comparing this upper class seat to the Boeing 767-300 this seat wins hands down. Better seat controls. More foot room when in lie flat mode. Bigger and better avod screen. And you have air gaspers on this plane that are not available on the 767-300. Also the seat cushion seemed better.

I was in 39G on a 10 hours flight and the main disadvantage of the seat is that is not alligned with the 4 seats in front, therefore you have your seat in between seat F & G for row 38 and thus you are not alligned with any of the AVOD screens. The advantage is you have more room to your right, because you can stretch your legs a bit wihout having the food cart hit you.

The armrests on seats 38C, 38D, 38F, and 38G didn't not raise, so despite having an empty middle seat, it was not possible to stretch out. 38G is noted as being bumped often, but 38F feels the bumping as well.

This comfort plus seat was comfortable for my flight from Amsterdam to Portland. The extra 3-4" of legroom was worth the extra cost and enabled me to pass the passenger in the aisle seat without her having to get up. I slept pretty well despite the lack of a leg rest in comfort plus. The extra pitch is about the only difference between economy and comfort plus. There is no separation between comfort plus and regular economy.

All business seats on right side get very loud noise from closing of toilet door which faces rearward from directly in front of starboard aisle. Either very poor design of toilet door location, or badly functioning door on this flight (7 Apr 2019, CDG to LAX).

I guess this seat is ok, as far as middle seats go. The fact that you are near the back of the plane does not really bother you. Also, don't worry if you think the lights and AC are misaligned. They aren't.

This seat is VERY uncomfortable. There is a box underneath it that prevents you from keeping your feet at anything but a 90 degree angle. At 5' 5" my knees touched the seat in front of me and were left bruised after the 6 hour flight with the person in front fully reclining their seatback.

There is only one thing I can say about this experience, BRING THE 767s BACK!!! I flew this route from MSP-HNL, and back. The IFE was flimsy and kept moving during flight, there was NO storage, and worst of all, surprising the seat. Unlike the 767, This seat could NOT fit me! I'm only 5'6", but my legs curled my at the end of the seat. Plus, I flew with my parents, with my mom sitting in the middle of the plane. All Delta One seats in the middle should be marked yellow, simply because her feet were almost touching a strangers. Gross. The only good thing about this flight was, as usual, the service. I now noticed, that during the summer they use 767-400s, so, I decided to go back! (Of course, that is not the only reason). Just hoping that they don't change planes back to an a330!

Window seat is misaligned with window. You cant lean on the "glass". If you recline the seat you will lean on the "rib" between two windows. Pretty uncomforable if you want to sleep

This seat may have slightly restricted leg room when compared to 8C(my seat on the outbound leg). It may be due to its position in the last row of the cabin. The light from the galley certainly makes the back of the cabin brighter than the front. I'm 2.12 meters tall and was able to sleep comfortably on my right side for several hours, but could not have done so on my left side. The food and entertainment were excellent. It was a very comfortable flight.

Seat 29J is a standard economy seat. The IFE was good as the interior was updated, the window alignment was also very good so looking out was easy. This seat is very comfortable specially if you are over 6'2" I would recommend seat 29H or 29J (my fiance used it) if your are not flying first class or Comfort+. IFE has a USB port and charges your cell phone fast while using wifi on board too. Recline is limited but Ok. Easy to stretch within reason. Rate this 9.5 out of 10.

The middle seats (CDFG) in row 38 should only be sold to children as the are narrower than all other seats in the main cabin of the Airbus A330-300. There should only have been 3 seat like in row 39 in row 38, but 4 seats are squeezed in. So if if you are setting next to another grown up man there is not enough space for your shoulders.

The seat had lots of leg room, I could fully stretch my legs without touching the bulkhead (I'm 5'7). You do see the lights / hear the sounds from the galley but you get an amenity kit in Comfort plus with eye shades and ear plugs.

I use this flight to AMS every year and have found that the 2-4-2 seating is excellent and the extra money for Comfort is well worth it. I wish the seat were a bit wider, but nevertheless it is much more comfortable than economy and being able to board first allows getting my caryon stored.

10J window seat in Economy Comfort- I'm 5'5". PROS: Great not to have anyone recline back onto me. Could plug my headphones into my armrest OR the foldout screen. With Pillows tucked at my lower back i could stretch out. You can easily step out to use the bathroom. CONS: Everything has to be stored for take off and landing, including personal bag you may have brought, and/or the tv monitors. Sometimes you gain the extra 1/2 hour watching a movie until touchdown so be prepared. The galley light is bright and overhead. It was worse for the window seat but bad for me and all in row 10 and even 11. The flimsy black curtain doesn't block the light from the top. Bring eyepads for darkness.

I hated this seat because its not a window or aisle seat. The forward economy cabin was freezing for the 12 hours I was seated on this ATH-JFK flight. The pitch seemed narrower then the window/aisle pair of seats--Could be my imagination but after a while I felt claustrophobic. This row has an electric outlet between the seats which came in handy because the USB port at my seat didn't work. Seat padding is uncomfortable for this long flight.

This was a very comfortable economy seat, despite the JFK-ATH flight length. Good TV and entertainment selection. Standard food service. Able to stand and walk to the lavatory easily. Decent leg room if you keep your carry-on in the overhead bin. Temperature was comfortable, but I flew home in the forward economy cabin and it was freezing from takeoff to landing.

Worst seat on the airplane. The bathroom is immediately adjacent to the seat. The bathroom door is a "slider" style door that often fails to close completely. Light from the bathroom shines directly on to seat 26B each time the bathroom door is open. Bathroom odors waft out continuously. Avoid this seat at all costs! (Probably should avoid 26A as well.)

I was able to sleep a good 5 hours thanks to the lie-flat bed and you get Sky Priority check-in, security, and baggage claim along with premium boarding priority (the highest).

These new seats on DL business class are far from good. Space is cramped; no provision is made for customer not living in the days of enslavement to computers, and for example wanting to read an old-fashioned book or work with pencil and paper. Nowhere to store anything (e.g., book); overhead lights are not targeted at workspace and cannot be adjusted; little "reading light" next to your shoulder will bump into your arm and cast shadow on document (especially for right-handed customer in C seats, or left-handed one in G seats). Revolving screen is actually too big and comes to close to passenger's eyes. All in all, this new arrangement is rather a downgrade from the previous seats. I was upgraded on a coupon, and so cannot complain in terms of value for money but pity the customer who would have actually paid for the J fare.

We thoought 10 A and B were the best seats to have on an overnight if you were not in Delta One. We had two windows and tons of leg room. I am 5' 11" and 180. I had no problem with the seat width and even kept a water bottle tucked at my side the whole flight. The flight crew did talk all night, and they never closed the galley curtain, but I'd rather not have someone leaning back into me.

I flew from Amsterdam to Atlanta on this plane. I had an economy plus seat that really improved my flying time since I am 6.4 ft tall. I did fit perfectly. The entertainment offered by Delta is rather acceptable and I could use WhatsApp and FB chat for free! Definitely better experience crossing the Atlantic ever!

The seat was what I expected and placing it into a lazy-boy type mode, rather than the lie-flat bed mode, provided me with the best sleep that I had ever had on a plane. I found the overhead bins to be difficult for this short armed flier to get my carry-on stored. They seemed to be more highly placed than on a 767, as an example.

Yes, it's a somewhat typical small pod style first/business seat, but your choice of seating adjustments/configurations is more limited than experienced on Air Canada or American [A321T], or international airlines for long travel. I am 6'7", so it's always a challenge. I couldn't fir comfortable enough to sleep for any length.

This is not a good seat at all. They charge and extra $ 89.00 (Dec 17) for booking this spot as a Comfort+ seat, but it's not worth it. Is true, you have plenty of leg space in front of you, but the seat width is the same of all other economy seats and that makes it not so comfortable. The biggest problem for me was that during the night, when all cabin lights are off and you wanna try to rest and sleep, the big white light that's in the crew area just ahead of the seat stays on, and a bright light just comes right straight towards that particular seat and bothers a lot. Not only that, but on my flights, the flights attendants were talking ALL NIGHT, I meaan no-stop chatting loud ... I could hear them even with my Noise cancellation headsets on ..!!! Really annoying. I'll never fly on that seat again.

11/26/2017 MSP-HNL seat 5-A I think Delta has finally gotten it right. The "herringbone" pattern for these seats is very good. This is international quality experience. The service was also very good on this flight. On-time departure, attentive flight attendants, nice TUMI amenity kits, good meals, and relatively quiet ride. This is what domestic First Class should be.

Assigned these seats as we were last minute standby (read as 'earlier flight almost ready to board when we cleared TSA) from a later LAX-JFK flight. Didn't have high expectations, but seats were comfortable for a transcontinental and leg room sufficient. Only hang up was wifi and entertainment system, both of which had to be reset mid flight. Delta's cabin crew seem to outshine their peers lately, and we enjoyed the comp 'meals' (cheese plate and veggie wrap). Would not choose middle seats in a middle row of 4 by choice, but the accommodation on an earlier flight balanced out. Entertainment options fine, screen size appropriate for close seat back, and seat was fine for 5 hour session. Delta staff seems to be trying harder of late to try to meet expectations.

Loved the leg room despite the bulk head. I'm not the tallest person but I could fully stretch my legs. The noise from the 1st class galley can be a bit bothersome (since they use real porcelain etc.) but I just used the earplugs to sleep (provided in the Comfort+ kit).

I fly this route at least 5x a year and choose it wherever I need to be in Europe because of the length of the flight and the quality of Delta One. Flight is long enough to have dinner and breakfast and still have a good night sleep. I am 6'1" and can lie flat. Flight attendants have always been excellent. I found this seat to be a good choice. I was on a flight from Atlanta to Barcelona. My traveling companion had 1C and we were able to converse and the seats felt rather private. They are furthest in front of the plane so you don't get to see any windows from them due to walls and closets but I was on an overnight flight and I actually liked this. The seat was pretty comfortable, both reclined to watching TV and in the lie-flat mode. I was able to get a few hours of sleep. The seats are more narrow than one would expect from Business Class, so that was a little bothersome if I turned during sleep. Overall, I felt this seat was fine for an overnight flight.

Standard config for Delta but on this config the angled seats mean your footbed goes in at an angle and the console in front of you is also angled. If you sleep on your side you can wrap around but only one way. Nice big screen and feels private on other single sides. Just dont expect to lay flat

This seat received ice cold air most of the trip from Honolulu to Atlanta on 4/16/17. It blew directly down on me most of the flight. Wear a jacket or heavy sweater if sitting in this seat at least warm clothing you can wear or take off. I had a light weight sweater which was not enough under the airplane blanket. Otherwise this was a great seat with plenty of room. Flight attendants were gracious and wonderful entire flight.

9A and 9J have overhead space but since Delta started using the new Westin pillows and blankets that are quite large, the FA's have a habbit of storing the pillows in the overhead above 9A and the blankets in the overhead above 9J. Do not choose 9A/J if you need overhead storage space. 9C and 9G usually have overhead space that is available to the traveler.

HNL to ATL on Flight 836; good experience, lie flat seat was nice since it was an overnight flight. I'm 5'9" and I was pretty comfortable throughout the flight, except for the foot area, which is super narrow if you keep your shoes on. Food service was great, the crew was super nice. Overhead bins were a good size. The only downside was that I could hear and feel the IFE screen behind me as the young, inconsiderate person behind me slammed it every two minutes. Not Delta's fault they allow idiots on board....but after I told her to stop, she did and the rest of the flight was uneventful. The pillows and blanket were good, and the Tumi travel kit was a nice touch. The first class area is configured perfectly, so if you have to get up, you don't have to be at the mercy of the person in the aisle seat to let you out--this was awesome! I started the trip with a complimentary maitai, so that was nice. I had a good view out of the windows, so I got some nice sunset pics in Honolulu and some sunrise pics upon arrival in ATL. Overall a good seat.

I chose 14J as it didn't have anything negative written about. I would like to warn people about the window seat here. This seat gets two windows, one up near your knees and a second back just behind your ears. I found this to be a problem. I like to lean on the space between windows while flying so I can sleep. I was unable to do this. If I lean just to my right, the window itself was too far from my seat so the arm rest was jabbing me in the side. I attempted to sleep on the tray. However, Delta gave the seats extra legroom, but they didn't modify the trays, so they don't extend too far. If the seat in front of you is reclined all the way, you can't lean on the tray. Sleeping in this seat was very difficult.

This was my first trip from ATL-HNL in first class. I have made the trip numerous times in coach. I found the over all experience to be well worth the premium price. The flight attendants were just that: attendant. They were friendly and professional and met all of my requests. I am larger than your average bear (6 foot, 325lbs) and I found the seats to be extremely comfortable. I did not lay completely flat, but found that reclining to about 30 degrees gave me a very comfortable position for both watching the AVOD and sleeping. The AVOD a huge amount of choices, both TV and movies. The screen is about 15 inches and very easy to use. This was also the first time I had used the noise cancelling headphones they have at each seat. They were outstanding! I have seen that some of the reviewers felt the seat lacked storage room, but I did not find that. Perhaps it was because I was in a window row and there is a narrow space between the pod and the wall that can hold Ipads and magazines. The pillow and comforter were also very nice. I also impressed bu the wifi which was available for the entire trip.

This seat is squarely in the "good/bad" category. If you're on an overnight flight and are over 6', sleep may be difficult. I'm 6'4" and my legs could not stretch out enough to get some shut eye. However, If sleeping is not on your list of things to do on your flight, I recommend this seat. I could cross my legs with ease, move about the seat in order to find a more comfortable position, and if you are a plane geek like me, the engines are right out the window with the sweet sound of the Pratt & Whitney PW4000's. I fly this plane a lot to and from amsterdam. I have been in many seats in this plane. In the back, it can be noisy during takeoff, and it gets cold during flight. Towards the dront it is warm in flight and less noisy. The seats are comfortable, the IFE is not bad, i would prefer to sit towards the front for a better experience.

Boarding on this plane is usually through door 2 which is behind row 9 so you will be first off the plane. The 333 is a great plane to fly on in business class on Delta!

This was my first Delta One long-haul, and I have to say that the seat is is wonderful, the AVOD more than adequate and the cabin very quiet. There wasn't much space for storing a few things I wanted to keep at hand, but I managed. I wish that meal service was from the front instead of the back, however. Even with no window, this is a very comfortable seat. The flight was a day time flight, so everyone had their window shades down, so no problem with no window right next to me (there is a window a few inches ahead of the seat, so could still see outside). Economy Comfort is worth the extra money for two tall people like we are as the Economy seats we had on the trip over were horrible. This was a nice change and since the plane was new, made for a pleasant flight.

I've flown in this seat a couple of times. The first time I wasn't bothered at all by the noise from the galley but this time around it bothered quite a lot, lots of banging and crashing all the time. There is little storage around the seat which is irritating because you have to keep constantly rearranging items on your armrest. IFE is excellent, food was ok although they did not have my first choice which is poor for what's supposed to be a premium service.

Not a confortable flight. They have reduced the seat size and leg space for all economy seats. Delta's local flights are much more comfortable. The food provided from rome to atlanta was no good either. Unusual choices of snacks. For a flight that is 11 hours long, delta should provide 2 meals and a snack. I was starving by the time they landed (especially because the 1 snack they provided was horrific). I would not travel delta internationally again. Much better choosing virgin atlantic, qatar, emirates .

The outboard seats are private, in your own little space. IFE and service great as usual. Nice to lay down but not particularly comfortable. The vinyl is hot - doesn't breathe. Virtually no storage at all except competing with your feet; you cannot keep your bag down during TO/landing. No storage bins at all.

Caught this bird in F on a ATL-LAX run. Can't comment on the sleeping capabilities because it was a daytime flight. Was an amazing seating experience for a domestic flight during the day though. Lots of space and seat will adjust to about any position you prefer, down to being completely flat. I've seen comments on lack of space when the meal is served, but on comparable domestic runs, you would't get that anyway. Screen is very large and responsive.

Most flyers do NOT care about Delta One/First Class reviews. Of course those seats are nice. Duh! This plane does not offer comfortable seating for economy. Period! I flew economy from Atlanta to Rome & return flight Paris to Atlanta on this plane and it was not comfortable. The seats & isles are narrow and there is very little room. You are squeezed in like sardines. Even the windows seem tiny for such a large plane. The Boeing 777 is much more comfortable. I will try avoiding this plane with future over seas flights!!

To reinforce my comments for the 767-300ER, the only better Business class seats I've experienced were on this Airbus on my AMS-PDX flt. Both seat configurations were similar, but the 330-300 seat angled toward the aircraft's fuselage and away from the aisle made this and all other Business seats exceedingly private, especially the seats along the fuselages (inasmuch as they're single seats). Unless one is claustrophobic, seats 2A and 2J compare favorably to some First Class open-suite configurations. Additionally, the service, food and crew competence was exemplary. DELTA has come a long way since my first Indy to Houston flt in '63.

Not as good as it sounds. Yes you have leg room as you a beside the door. However be warned, people seem to think as there is a bit of space here it is fine to do Exercises on long haul flights right in front of you - you may close your eyes only to wake up with a butt in your face!. Also to your right you have the 4 seats that have the wall to hang cots on - so be warned you may end up with two screaming babies, and a very inappropriate exerciser all in one flight, this isn't to forget you get the queuing for the toilets (as 4 of the aircraft's toilets are right there). Oh and remember just in case the steward doesn't, the emergency exits do have heaters in them for these seats, as with out them, you are going to feel a draft. Never ever again. Return flight no problem with normal seat, plenty of space for legs.

If you are traveling alone this is 26J is a great seat. Being inside blocks you from the people moving around, but close to the bathroom. Also and most important the seat does recline and there is room behind your seat for extra storage. The seats also have pockets on the back so you can put all those magazines out of your way. JFK>MXP Had the opportunity to upgrade to economy comfort. A couple of things....if we had not upgraded, we would have been in row 38. Also, our flight arrived in Milan at the same time as an Air China from Shanghai and another jumbo from Bangkok. Being in row 12 got put us in a MUCH better position at immigration. Seat width is the same as all economy, but legroom much better. We were in 12 A and B...so not bad. CAUTION: Row 13 has no window. Food, drink etc the same as economy. All in all, worth the $89.

Economy Comfort Row 10 has adequate legroom, 2 window views and in-seat video monitors; however, not a desirable seat for long haul and overnight flights due to noise and light from the Business Elite galley located forward of the bulkhead at the L2 door. F/A conversations, continuous banging of galley equipment doors and light from that area interferes with ability to rest or sleep and negates the advantages Economy Comfort may provide. Pick a EC row further back if possible.

We flew on this aircraft between PDX and AMS. The A330/340 is definitely my favorite airplane for long-haul economy class travel. The 2-4-2 arrangement means you never have to climb over more than 1 person to get to the aisle and the 2 seats abreast by the windows are great for couples travelling together. The 18" wide seats are about as good as it gets in economy class these days. Seat pitch is adequate.

The three windows are great and the seat is quite wide and comfortable. The duvet cover and pillow are also nice as well as good service and very good food. Way above the business class of its competitors.

If you are keen on leaning against the bulkhead to sleep. Don't book this seat as the point you would lean into is actually a window. Therefore you cannot lean comforatably.

The layout, facing the windows, is much nicer than the 777 and offers more privacy. Even a 6+ft guy can almost get their feet inside the space provided when flat. Very comfortable.
