What is Unaccompanied Minor Service?

Aerolineas Argentinas’ Unaccompanied Minor Service provides assistance to help check-in and board the minor onto the aircraft. Once onboard the aircraft, the minor is taken care by Aerolineas Argentinas crew members to ensure the child has the most enjoyable flight possible. Once at the final destination, the minor is accompanied through immigration processes and baggage claim until they are safely delivered to the designated person picking them up.

What are the rules and restrictions for Unaccompanied Minor Service?

  • Minors under 5 years old are not allowed to travel alone.
  • Minor between 5 and 12 years old are required to use this service.

Is this service available on all flights?

Yes, this service is available on all domestic and international flights.

What are the fees associated with this service?

Children using this service must purchase a child fare ticket and pay the following additional charge:

  • $15 USD on domestic flights
  • $30 USD on regional flights
  • $60 USD on international flights
